Alps is a project by a group of engineers who spent years building software the usual way – and are now trying to work the way we expect most software to be built a few years from now.

- We use AI agents as widely as we can – and watch what comes of it. We’ve built software long enough to understand whether they actually help – and where.
- Portfolio
- Our projects cover the full grid: built by agents or by hand, with models inside or without. Models come from both worlds: frontier ones from the major labs, open models deployed locally.
- Judgment
- We draw our own conclusions from our own experience, rather than joining either side of the argument about AI.
- Outcome
- Success isn’t guaranteed. Learning is.
